You should have the following (items are listed in order as shown in step 1): 
- Two pots
- One 2 cavity tray
- Two bags perlite
- One part A & B nutrient
- One smart valve
- One roll of 4mm tubing
- 1 inline filter
- One 10mm dia. grommet
- One water reservoir

You can put the reservoir on a stand (20cm+)

...or you can mount it on the wall with a suitable bracket

...or even simply stand on the ground

If tubing is hard to insert, you can use petroleum jelly on tube makes it easier to insert
